Hand Picked Eden Valley Riesling
Wine
Rockford Hand Picked Eden Valley Riesling is grown in the Eden Valley high in the Barossa Ranges, where the terrain is punctuated by ancient Red Gums.
The vineyards are sited on shallow, rocky soils. The vine roots must push through cracks in submerged rock in search of water and scarce nutrients. The result is fruit with a fine, mineral purity.
The fruit is hand harvested for vinification. Prior to release, the wine develops in bottle for a year or two.
Bright yellow, Rockford Hand Picked Eden Valley Riesling balances softness and complexity with a long, firm finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
